Just came back from a fantastic week of new music in Montreal at the Montréal Contemporary Music Lab. It was great to meet so many composers and performers. It’s rare to have us all under one roof at the same time! “Tempest”, my new work for flute and piano was performed with great verve by flutist Jeffrey Stonehouse and pianist Gabrielle Gingras of Ensemble Paramirabo at Café L’Artère on June 22nd to a packed house of composers and performers. What an attentive audience! Montreal is certainly a beautiful city and I can’t wait to visit again.
