short documentary
director: Armen Everensel

Binty is a short award winning film by documentary by writer/director Armen Evernesel. In it, Whistler Valley potter “Vincent Binty Massey” recounts the story of a daring helicopter rescue over a frozen lake while we see the counterpoint of Massey going about his business as a potter.

This was challenging to compose because it needed to be exciting enough for the story being told, yet stay under the almost constant narrative and never get in the way of it. Lots of fun to write and Armen gave me pretty free reign. Thanks to Donovan Seidle and Willhem Stam for doing such a fantastic job performing.
