Vancouver’s Turning Point Ensemble plays “East Van: Dawn to Dusk” as part of Vancouver Pro-Musica’s Sonic Boom Festival on March 29, 2015 at the Orpheum Annex.
“East Van: Dawn to Dusk” is inspired by the sounds in my neighbourhood in East Vancouver, ships horns, traffic, birds. All of these subtle and varied sounds become motif’s for the piece and are developed to become the core of the work.
